AND one more on the massage

And before ya'll label me a selfish little hedonist.... I am pushing my massage for YOUR benefit!

"MSNBC recently reported on a study done by the University of Missouri-Columbia suggesting there are hormonal changes that occur when we interact with our dogs. This change can actually help a person cope with depression and certain stress-related disorders. The preliminary findings of this study have shown that a few minutes of stroking your dog prompts a release of a number of "feel good" hormones including serotonin, prolactin and oxytocin. And a few loving strokes can decrease levels of cortisol, the primary stress hormone and the adrenal chemical responsible for regulating appetite and carbohydrate cravings."

So lower that blood pressure and pass on the bon bons... Those pants are a wee bit tight... DO give your Bichon some much needed massage!

Altruistic to a fault
