Tasty Tuesday - Reinventing the wheel, part 2

So, she prepped all the turkey and then moved the rack to the oven at set it at 200 degrees on convection, because she is always in a hurry....

Two hours laters, we had this:

Mhhh smells done, but momma said "NOT YET"

Not yet means... another??? 45 minutes or so, at 200 degrees- convection.


They shrunk. Mhhh Momma, YOUR evil oven shrunk my turkey!  

What do you ment "PUT AWAY?"  We have been here the whole time dying from the smell that made our mouth all watery and you think you are going to put it away???  How about putting some "away" in my belly?

Hoomans, they lack basic decency sometimes... We got two containers like that one and one big zip lock bag. Who hoooo!!!  Turkey Jerky galore!


cook's note. spray your skewers with oven spray so that they do not stick. Clean up is easy as the drip trays can be lined. I used parchment, next time I will line them with foil.  Parchment got brittle.
