INTERLUDE or as the music goes.

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

Was tweaking my music list earlier today, 'cause let's face it, my eclectic music tastes are constantly evolving. My tastes reflect my household in some ways. Momma listens to lots of foreign music and I like some of it (No momma, NOT Brazilian Girls!) The daddy is more main stream with some definite classical rock... and horrible union songs and that OSU ditty-ick- my 2 legged sis... mhhh she is avant garde with a tinge of retro and my 2legged bro...well he is Jazz, he is independent labels... Me? Hmm. Look at my playlist! I am BLENDED like a well made cocktail (what is the deal with tail end poultry feathers anyway?)straight up with 2 prosciutto stuffed olives. Ditch the olives, eat the prosciutto. My mouth is watering.

Momma wanted to sanitize my play list! She says that in 2005 bs [Ohh before moi! 2005bs before silvie.... HA HA I CRACK ME UP!] at a Computer-Human Interaction conference in Portland, Oregon findings were presented that echo my theory: "Music playlists can reveal intimate aspects of character, even when the listeners alter their lists to portray themselves in certain ways".

Another finding was that sharing digital music, including among people with disparate song tastes, can lead to the formation of strong group identities. DUH. what do they think howling is all about for 4leggeds?

Anyway, momma thinks that my playlist might skew how you view me!

If the first "finding" momma talks about is true, then you 2leggeds have it easy! Not sure about a political candidate? Check out his/her music list!Iffy about hiring that new groomer? Ask to see his/her music list! But, I have this little problem letting go of a thought once I start thinking about it... so I had to poke...According to Blender your political candidates for the presidency have a top 10 list...
