tastee tuesday-- Guilty Guizzards

She is guilt ridden.  Good.  To spend all that time to make Canneles de Bordeaux not to even share.  She should be steeped in guilt. She will have to compensate for this indiscretion. I will not even look at her until she comes up with something yummy for us.

There is a je ne se quoi de responsibility.   You share our lives, you SHARE.  None of this partisanship baking. The canneles smell yummy. Dang it.

All right woman, what have you got for us?

Guilty Gizzard fest

Skeptical here...

For real

Ok....

1. Drain, clean and season a lb of gizzards.
Season as in lightly salt, and we have discussed this with momma we like a light sprinkle of  sage. We are talking light here.  A whiff.  Sort of thanksging sniff.

2. Drizzle with one TBSP of olive oil

3. Place in a 350 oven for about 20 minutes.  You want the gizzards cooked, no longer pink and we like a bit of color, golden brown.  You might have to adjust for your oven.

4. These make yummy treats. Cheapo momma will only give us one...as part of our daily total intake. NOT on top of... Guilty gizzards are apparently high in calories as is all organ meat.
[Who comes up with this caca????]

Anyway. I might forgive her. I am not so sure, yet.  I need another gizzard to cogitate and find my forgiveness..

'vie

wait if guilty feet have no rhythm, it should hold true that guilty gizzards have no calories, right?

Well, my Mama had better get her tail in the kitchen and make me up some of these. They sound divine, Vie. Perhaps even better than canneles...can else are delightful, but can they really compare to... To meat?! I think not. Give me a meaty treat anyday!
