Waiting and waiting....

One of the greatest assets a Bichon has is the ability to observe things and not come off as  a peeping tom or as judgmental.  We just have this look of "interested excitement". That my friends is a valuable assets. Two leggeds who feel judged become protective and they close doors. They you find that you loose full access.  Not a good thing when you were bred to be a velcro dog.

JD and I are watching momma get dressed. Neither of our faces betrays what we are really thinking.  Ok, I should NOT speak for JD.  But I, myself was actually having the following thought process:

"Seriously woman. Those pants?  They are one step removed from mom jeans.  Who was with you when you bought them?  Somebody should have stopped you.  I do hope that when Dowi comes home she has the nerve to take those things and Good Will them away... Oh. that shirt. Miami Vice is off the air momma... Ok ok that shirt I like. Nooooo . Put away the spiky shoes.  Go for the pretty purple flats. You are happier in those and they pop. Dowi should see that you are doing matchy matchy again... Besides, in the flats you are more willing to go for long walks.  Not that belt. Really.  Who raised you, Liberace? Just let that shirt speak for itself.  Mhh . I would have picked a longer earring. But whatever. A vest? Quick someone show this woman today's date.  Momma, the 70s are long gone.  Come on, move along.  You are done. Less is MORE. You are done, come on. Grab the raincoat and let's go. OMD... another change of shoes???? Boots. Oh yes it is raining. , and ... a change of raincoat.... of course... it has to match the hat... I would like to get this 15 minutes back, please... Ok big tail wag, it's almost over, show her excitement, maybe she will be compelled to get going already. 15 minutes just to get ready to go for a walk.... seriously... momma, we need to talk.....but now now, let's go!"

JD says he just counts how many things have to go on and come off and he says the average number is 8. Mhh. interesting approach.  Whatever.. LET"S GO!!!

I am not judging you
...at least not that you can tell

We usually drag Mommy's clothes out of the closet and lay them out for her. You can't let Mommies dress themselves. They just don't understand.

I refuse to take on ANOTHER job. She needs to grow up. Besides last time I took out one of her shoes she went postal on me. Gave me the sour face for two hours....
