Sentry duty

Momma really upset me today.

She called us LAZY.

Lazy, moi???? I was trying to get a nap. I have to get some sleep. Momma has selective memory.

You don't know what that is?  It is a faulty memory that simply chooses to omit facts that are not convenient to her.

Here is what momma's selective memory is functionally omitting from her consciousness.

While momma is out like a light sleeping ALL NIGHT LONG.... we, the "lazy dogs" are on duty.

We keep an eye on things. We take over and fully patrol the premises and this corner of our neighborhood.

We work in shifts, Two of us are always on patrol.  We know what goes on and we keep an eye on the block. JD does the Northwest corner and I go back and forth between the South East corner and JD's post.

The next time momma starts in with her lazy dog routine I am going to rub these pictures all over her selective memory and see what impression they make.

Yea, JD has his post all decked out, He likes it cushy. Says it makes him more efficient.

Whatever.  It gets the job done.
