I AM HOT AND not IN A GOOD WAY!!!! Thoughtless Thursday- Too hot to think

BEAT THE HEAT
STAY INDOORS
LIMIT TIME OUTSIDE

HEAT CAN BE DEADLY!
DO YOU SEE :heavy panting, glazed eyes, a rapid pulse, unsteadiness, a staggering gait,
vomiting, or a deep red or purple tongue?
WHAT TO DO: MOVE your pet immediately to a cooler area.
GRADUALLY LOWER BODY TEMPERATURE by applying cool (not cold) water all over his body or soaking him in a cool bath. Place cool, wet towels over the back of the neck, in the armpits, and in the groin area. You may also wet the ear flaps and paws with cool water. Direct a fan on the wet areas to speed evaporative cooling.
OFFER FRESH COOL WATER  if your dog is alert and wants to drink.
DO NOT FORCE A PET TO DRINK
CALL YOUR VET SO THEY ARE READY TO HELP YOUR DOG AS SOON AS YOU GET THERE.
YES TAKE THEM TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY -- SAVE A LIFE!

WHAT'S YOUR HEAT INDEX TODAY?

ICK! Hot sucks!!
My huskies love to lay underneath the windows which have our air conditioners in them. That is their favorite thing to do in summer! BOL!
Great tips, thank you for sharing!
