lemmy ketchup you- Tasty Tuesday

TastyTuesdayBadge

Boy. I have not posted in like forever. But in my defense I have been busy, Yea, busy.  My Adam was home. I had to occupy his arms 24/7. I literally outsnuggled him. Turns out hoomans have snuggle limits, like 4/5 days tops!

MY Dowy was home . [YES MAX, MY Dowi] The little interloper seems to think she belongs to him. And she does.  But his claim is subordinate to mine. His would be a junior lien.  Look it up. I am NOT being jealous.  I am being factual.

So, lemmy ketchup you. We had a lovely strange holiday. Good food, good company, good times. The Dowi adopted Max and now he is her full time roommate in DC.  He is a Bichon, from TBFR, so obviously he is lovable and according to Dowi, smart, sassy, and crazy about toys. Ho hum.  I have done the DC scene, I am no country bumpkin. I was riding elevators and doing the Old Town scene before Max understood peed pads. Just saying.

But , for those of you who are interested, Max is having a grand time.  He has discovered that living in an apartment complex comes with many many petters and play mates. It comes with a park, a balcony, access to doggy friendly restaurants and what appears to be... an unlimited supply of stuffies. [Max loves stuffies. He tried to abscond with some of my old stuffies. As if.  Boundaries boy, boundaries.]

I am not bittah. I am sweet as they come.  Ask my Adam. And why should I be jealous?  I have THE momma. All that comes with her. Smiling.  Max loved momma and her fridge, and her range and her goodies. Nuff said. And Dowi is a food guard. [I am not calling her that to her face. you know... food nazi...no, not to her face]

But let's talk about the rest of the stuff that is going on.
Spring Fling -- Sunday, April 27, 12 noon, at Uncle Bob's house!

I am looking forward to spending time with Kip. I have asked JD to entertain Fiona. She can be protective of Kip and frankly he does not need protecting from me.

Let's talk about my new bed. Yea, I got one of those. Just because I am cute. It is super plush and soft and I think it will be great in the winter.  It is too warm for spring and summer. What do you mean, I claimed it? Exqueeze me. A dog bed is brought into my home.  It is a fair assumption it is meant for a dog, which I happen to be. So I test it out and roll my scent all over it. I claimed it. Who else would it be intended for? MAX?  Seriously?  He has 2 other beds that I know of! I only have like 8... This is a bigger house! I have to have more beds. in case I get tired in different places.

This is now a Max free post. I so declare it. NUFF!

It is tasty Tuesday.
Let's talk:...Green beans. A great snack for EVERYONE, even two leggeds.

Yes the green long things. Boil them and I will not go near them. BUT momma does not boil them.
She snips the ends, and tosses them in a frying pan with sea salt and a few drops of sesame oil. The goal is to "toast them up" and keep them firm, but cooked, Daddy gets garlic in his, but momma is lergic to garlic, so ours is garlic free. But I do like a pinch of white pepper. She likes a pich of truffle salt.  To each his own.

Just keep on hand...a great little snack, for very few calories. [Got to watch my figure- too much competition around here]

BTW, uncle Phil, I blame YOU. You started with Cooper cat.... and now Max... Eh. In the end...
I think I really inspired all this. I am THAT lovable.
