Happy B day wishes to my Dowi.

What a Sunday.  Spent the entire day in pursuit of pesce d'Aprile. Yea, you know, April Fools Day. In my house we do it Italian, French style. We chase each other with paper fish and the goal is to pin the fish on the fool. Obviously it is a twisted version of pin the tail on the donkey. Ok, look all three of us think it is stoooooopid, but momma, momma.... momma thinks it is fun. I wish you could see my crossed eyes right now.  I am crossing them as I dictate this. We let her have her "fun" until we could take it no more. Then we simply gave other stuff to think about. For example... JD went out in the back yard and gave himself a full mud bath and tried to turn himself into a black poodle. Now that's a grand April Fool joke! While The Wendy and I loved his efforts, we really thought it showed great imagination, momma turned into a stuttering, sputtering clearly not laughing... mass of hysteria. Not the good kind. She grabbed JD and took him to the sink in the garage and gave him a bath!  So much for getting into the spirit of the holiday!  I must admit, that boy was 90% mud and 10% Bichon. It took multiple washings to find the Bichon.  And to his credit he managed to give momma a few showers, so the whole experience became more ... mutual. At the end, both of them looked like wet rats.

But enough about that.  Today I have to take time to wish my sister a happy birthday. My Dowi has a birthday today. I tried to get this blessed woman to get into the car and drive over. But Noooooooooooooooo. She is too busy scratching and whining and blah blah blah. Maybe you should hold a pair of shoes as bait or something.

If... I only had thumbs.

Tell you what Dowi, when you get home, we will do your birthday properly.  I promise.

I will let you rub my  belly until the pink turns really really pink! From one baby of the family to the other... [really you are the baby??? Really??? Whoaaaa]
