The gift of sight

Two of my buds just underwent life changing surgery. Both went from blindness to being sighted. MIRACLES. CATARACTS. ICK. Phyllis, and Will.

How can you possibly begin to quantify what that is worth? I choose to measure it in love. Tons and tons of it. Two leggeds who loved enough to pay for that surgery. Two leggeds who loved enough to do that surgery and two legged who loved enough to endure everything and take care of us during the recovery process.

Phyllis, when you first actually saw your new momma, what did you think? Did she looked like she smelled?  [It's a dog question, if you are human, forget it, you can't understand it].

Will, it's a little scary being in THE cone, but you know that soon THE cone will be gone and you will see everything around you and you will be free to jump and play and run around. I am so excited for you. I can't wait to see you both at the bash.

Until then, CONGRATULATIONS to both of you, SPEEDY RECOVERY AND BE GRATEFUL YOU ARE SO LOVED!!!!

How wonderful!!! It's awesome that these two leggeds thought enough of their beloved four leggeds to help them out with the surgery expenses!!!
