Tasty Tuesday Nirvana Bone-anza, JENGA!

All the recalls yesterday had me bummed out. I don't get caca in a bag or in a box for dinner.  I get home cooked. Stuff like this!

Momma got a hold of a few lamb bones. A FEW... OMWOOFFFF!!!

She decided to make lamb aspic.

And this is what it looked like.

NO. Do not lick the screen, Your hooman will get royally ticked off.

BUT seriously the smell... I really thought I died and went to the great Rainbow Bridge Bone Yard!

Then , momma decided to cool off the bones... and JD decided to play BONE JENGA!

That boy is so talented... and smart. He climbed on his dinner chair and quietly proceeded to extricate a single bone... from that big pile.  BONE JENGA! Who needs thumbs? Not my JD!!!!!

Slowly, carefully, quietly... he worked.

And he managed to take a bone and take off with it. He never disturbed the "pile".  Can you say talent????

Momma had no choice!  Parity rule.  She had to give each of us our own... See Wendy asking "For real, all mine?"

I did not ask. It is mine.

PS, momma froze the bones as future treats... the aspic is jelling....

PS. Bones are NOT alone food. Momma insists that we only get bones while she is watching , and....they have to be LONG bones, the non splintering kind, and knuckle bones. And they do disappear if they get to be too chewed up. One of HER rules.

To make them, just place in a pot of hot water, bring to a boil, take them out and cool down. That's it!  DELISH!
