While occupying the position of command in the household, [daddy's lap...of course...equate this to Captain Kirk in his seat on the bridge of the Enterprise] JD is taking the opportunity to explain his theory of applied chewie trickle down
economics.
Cosmo is excitable. He begs, does tricks and basically will do anything for a
good turkey chewie treat. JD finds the entire approach to be appalling. So beneath a Bichon.
JD's approach and one the girls have honored and abide by, is simple. you have to simply BE.
You are a Bichon and that is the only cache` you need!
Look interested, but aloof. Focus on "everything else". Give the hoomans a whiff of interest, but no more!
Delight in being still.
Make them work to convince you that the chewie is worth taking.
Success lies in making your hooman BEG you to take the chewie, WITHOUT you having to work for it. Get it?
Chewies will "TRICKLE DOWN" your way just because they want your love, approval, whatever!
And that, my friends is why JD is THE KING.
