The Unwanted Chew

I do not think it's such a huge crime
To demand the momma give belly rubs every time
I ask or twist or contort into place
And offer my belly, and give her the face
Chin tilted down, eyes looking up
Could there possibly exist a cuter pup?
And if she's distracted by some other stuff
I whimper and whine and retort with a huff
When she finally gives in, as all 2leggeds do
I reward her with snuggles and JD's favorite chew!
(which she never wants. weirdo.)
