dancing WITH XENAAAAAA!

Roll up the rugs!

Move out the chairs!

IT is dancing time for REALSIE!!!!

Chicaboom boooom don't' cha just love it? I can't stop my tail and my rump is doing the chachacha!

XENA has a forever home!

That lucky girl got herself a whole lot of permanent petters!

And...smirk, wink, cough cough... another family of lawyers!!!!  Xena, I can't even begin to tell you all the advantages of that!  Trust me I know... I have 4 of those in my family. Five, if you count JD's honorary Juris Doctorate in Law... [DUH that is why he is JD!] Jack Daniels is not his godfather!

And you know that Gracie's daddy is a lawyer as well.  Oh heck, we should all meet up at the bash!
No, we WILL meet up at the bash!

Bichons are the secret support staff every successful lawyer needs. We are the unconditional de-stresser. Unsung heroes of the legal world. You know... without us... there would be a whole lot more stressed out lawyers. Heck, we are essential personnel!

Xena, I bet you are going to be happy.  I know your new family is already loving you. Do a good job of raising those tiny hoomans. The pay off is incredible. Once a hooman loves a Bichon he or she is inoculated for life and our breed, our species [!!!] benefits.  That is why I "allow" belly rubs. That is why I "let them pet me".  That is why I "let them carry me around and love me up!  FOR THE GOOD OF THE BREED AND THE SPECIES!

Yea, I am THAT unselfish.  Meanwhile, I have not been touched in 7 minutes momma.... I am just saying...

And let the music play and the celebration carry on!! Go Tidewater Bichon Frise Rescue!! YOU ROCK!

And a one and a two.... dancing my way into a lap....

[Momma was showing her age- I tried to update her. She is so old that she needs her fingers, her toes, my fingers, my toes, your finger, your toes... etc to count how old she is.]

MacKenzie is a super duper lucky boy. [don't say anything and don't act shocked, but Mac is not a Bichon,  He is a MALTESE! How he ended up at Tidewater Bichon Frise Rescue [TBFR]... is a long story, BUT he did! Hey it is called WHITE DOG COTTAGE!!!! White being the operative word! ] And that was Mac's luckiest day evahhhhhh!

I am still waiting for pics from auntie Robin. I promise I will update as soon as I get them.
GOT IT!

Meanwhile, I am doing a helicopter tail, I am shaking my bon bon, I am twirling, I am blitzing!

And to Mac's new family. Folks it was divine intervention that put Mac in your home. I expect you to love him, take care of him and and let him love you. Well actually I also expect you understand that you are now part of our TBFR family.  Go with it. We all have. Squint. In your head feel free to translate it to Tidewater Maltese Family... just belong!

Oh Yea.,.,.., WELCOME to our family!  Mac, make us proud!

Ella Fitzgerald said it BEST! It is tooooooo DARN hot!

You know how that goes... You don't?  Well, if you have a minute, I will tell you how it goes.

It goes like this...

It is too darn hot, too darn hot.  You need this background music... trust me...

Ehmm what is a "DANG?"   Anyway, I wanted to go to the boardwalk,

BUT walking on the boardwalk right now would result in second degree burns on my tootsie. Seriously. And did I mention that it is HOT HOT HOT?  Like walking into an oven hot!

So, here is how you do the boardwalk in this heat:

1. YOU pack the car.

a. cold water, lots of it.
b. cooler with chilled fruit and chewies.
c. sunscreen.
d. chill mats
e. momma's rice cakes. [She gets positively miniony evil  when she is hungry]

f. And ... yea, give it to the boy,  You pack Cosmo's SPLISH2.  Splish1 is always home. Splishes 3-7 are in the closet waiting in abeyance,

I will ride in my car seat until we get to the boardwalk. Then I want to be upfront so I can enjoy the view and do my thing. I am the ambassador of good will.

If they have a pulse, seeing my face makes them OHH and AHHH. And you know that daddy has to drive slowly  because those are the rules. So, I lend my best "face" to cheer up the wilted tourists.

Wilted is the right word!  They look wilted! It is not my fault! Spent? I don't know, you come up with a better word!

After about 10 minutes of "press" tour, I have to have a sip. And a nosh, and momma, don't take it personally, but it is too hot to have you hold me.,  SO I am going to retire to my own  chilled gel mat seat where I can chillax.  And yea, I love air conditioning!!! CRANK IT UP DADDY!

Now that is how you do the boardwalk in this heat!
