I hear things. The roomer is there is a visit to the groomer in my very near future. Awful roomers. We all know that I am not fond of the fluff and blow and really even less fond of being at the mercy of a brush, comb and dryer.
The innuendo is that I am "overdue" and that I look unkempt. LIES, DASTARDLY LIES! The fault lies solely with momma who let me swim, and play and then neglected to do a proper comb out. OK, neglected may be harsh. Maybe I did not make myself "available" for the comb out. It could be that I pretended to be sleepy and tired and cheapened myself by using a belly rub and snuggle session to get out of a comb out. Could be. I am admitting nothing, but now we are hearing things and I may be regretting my actions. Hm. Think if I offered up the belly and a snuggle Miss Margie could... be persuaded that I need loving up instead of a washing up? Well, if it comes to pass, I will try it.
I am laying low and hoping that the roomers stay roomers... if you know what I mean...

ReplyDeleteAt least you are only "unkempt" because of a swim. I am "unkempt" because of plaster dust! The wall guys have been putting stuff on the walls in the family room and kitchen and everything -- including me -- has this coating of stuff! Mama has already told me in no uncertain terms that I am going to get a bath and haircut at the groomer's on Friday. And she says they will probably have to shave me down to get all the nots and stuff off me this time. I don't think distraction is going to work this time!
